Practical training support for the work you do every day
SERVICE TERMS

Terms & Conditions

1. About the services

F-Gas 1 Training Services, operated by John Boyle, offers practical on-site coaching for engineers and businesses, F-Gas training delivery for training centres, and assessor support for training centres.

2. Enquiries and booking

Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a booking. A service is booked only when the scope, dates, location or delivery format, fees, expenses and other relevant arrangements have been agreed in writing.

3. Fees and payment

Fees, payment dates, travel or other expenses and any applicable taxes will be stated in the written quotation or booking confirmation. The client must raise any questions about the quotation before accepting it. No fee is payable merely for making an enquiry.

4. Changes and cancellation

Any cancellation, rescheduling, notice period or associated charge will be stated in the written quotation or booking confirmation. If a change is needed, contact F-Gas 1 Training Services as soon as possible so that the options can be agreed in writing.

5. Training-centre engagements

The centre is responsible for confirming the qualification or programme, learner eligibility and arrangements, assessment plan, facilities, equipment, site access and applicable centre procedures. Assessment decisions are made against the relevant assessment requirements and evidence; no particular result is promised.

6. On-site coaching and safety

On-site coaching is practical development support for the agreed work context. It is not itself a qualification, certification or regulatory approval, and does not replace formal training, employer procedures, risk assessments, manufacturer instructions or competent supervision. The client remains responsible for site safety, work authorisation, equipment condition and the actions of its staff.

7. Materials and intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, training materials and methods remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Materials supplied for an engagement may be used for that engagement but may not be copied, sold or republished without permission.

8. Complaints and liability

If you have a concern about a service, please raise it through the website enquiry form with the subject “Service concern”. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any additional liability terms will be stated in the written service agreement.

9. Website content

Website information is general and does not guarantee availability, suitability, qualification outcomes or any particular business result. Service scope and suitability are confirmed for each engagement.

10. Privacy

Personal information supplied in an enquiry is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.

11. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

12. Contact
